She Loves Me book by Joe Masteroff, music by Jerry Bock, and lyrics by Sheldon Harnick.

This charming small-cast musical was produced by The Link Theatre in December of 2023.

The company was very lean, so all scene changes were choreographed by the director, Joe Langworth, and performed by the cast. Scenic pieces were reused to reduce the number of pieces that had to be brought on and off. For example, the counters for the perfumerie created a wishing well on the street, or nightstand in Amalia's bedroom, or a counter in the workroom.

I adopted an envelope motif, which can be seen in the portal, the counters, and the floor reflecting the letters that Amalia and Georg exchanged.

Ground Plan and Rendering

All renderings for this production were done digitally. First, the scenery was drafted three-dimensionally in Vectorworks. Then it t was exported to Adobe Photoshop and finishing touches were added.
